Event: Board certified physician’s Dr. Billy Noell, General Surgery and Dr. Scott Baker, Family Medicine present “When Surgery is Needed and When it is Not”.
When: June 6th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Lecture Topic: Aliments, conditions, diseases that surgery can improve/resolve as well as “what to expect” when having surgery at HCH.
Event: Board certified Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Herbert Plauché presents “Soreness: Is it Your Muscles, Tendons, Bones or Joints”.
When: July 11th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Attendees will be given an overview of conditions that can cause soreness and pain, activities that can irritate or progress conditions and treatments to overcome.
Event: Board certified family physician, Dr. David Wheeler and Ingles Pharmacist Scott Thurman present “Cravings vs. Addictions”.
When: July 18th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Attendees will be provided information regarding food cravings, prescription drug addictions as well as tips to prevent, detect and overcome.
Event: Board certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Robert Buchanan presents “The Truth About Anti-Aging Products and Procedures”.
When: August 8th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in anti-aging services, their effectiveness and longevity.
Event: Board certified family physician, Dr. Richard Matthews presents “Insulin Levels- What Everyone Should Know”.
When: September 12th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn in-depth knowledge concerning insulin levels and how those levels can affect one’s mood, energy and overall health.
Physician Forum- Board certified Gynecologist, Dr. James Smallwood presents “Women’s Health- The Well Rounded Woman”.
When: October 10th from 12 noon to 1 pm on the first floor of the Jane Woodruff Clinic, hospital campus.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the latest information regarding preventive medical treatments and screenings with an emphasis on breast and ovarian health.
