Exercise Classes
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital offers a variety of fitness classes
through our HealthTracks Program.
Pilates
Join
certified Pilates instructor Sandie Trevathan in a class that works
through the body's core, abdomen, and spine to increase strength,
endurance, and flexibility. The Pilates Method is a non-impact
technique incorporating six principles; concentration, control,
centering, flow, precision, and breath. It is a conditioning program
that provides simultaneous stretching and strengthening of the deep
abdominal and back muscles thereby enhancing postural integrity and
trunk stability leading to trim, toned bodies.
Firm & Burn
Join
instructor Suzanna Pollack (RN) for Firm & Burn, a full-body workout
that focuses on increasing strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular
fitness.
Toning
Join
instructor Jeanette Fisher (BS-CPT) of the HealthTracks staff for a
toning session involving free weights and balance balls which are used
to improve strength and balance while increasing cardiovascular
fitness.
Yoga
Join
instructor Rebecca Landis, a certified Yoga instructor for this class
which focuses on a general physical style of Yoga with some meditation
for relaxation at the beginning and end of each session.
